Nissan Introduces a Special Edition GT-R To Celebrate Partnership with Naomi Osaka
The company aims to make only 50 examples of these.
Nissan is working to honor its partnership with Grand Slam tennis champion Naomi Osaka by creating a special edition GT-R. The company aims to make only 50 examples of these and has started taking orders.
The special edition GT-R will be a customized form of the Nissan GT-R Premium edition grade. Nissan plans to introduce it in three exterior paints namely Midnight Opal, Meteor Flake Black Pearl, and Brilliant White Pearl.
Naomi Osaka is Nissan’s latest brand ambassador, recruited after she became the first Japanese tennis player to win the women’s’ singles Grand Slam Championship last September.
She worked with Nissan to put together color schemes for the special edition. These three color schemes have been specially made for the 50 special edition cars and can also be integrated with any body color.
The special edition Nissan GT-R sports LED high-mounted stop lights on a dry carbon rear spoiler as well as a golden model number plate in the engine room.
Nissan did not reveal the price yet. However, it will definitely be higher than the regular GT-R coupe, which sells at AED 398,000. The deliveries might start any time this year.
