2019 Lexus ES Makes Its Way to UAE With Two New Variants

Other than the 300h hybrid, Lexus has introduced the 2019 Lexus ES F-Sport model.


The UAE market welcomes the brand-new 2019 Lexus ES thanks to Lexus’s UAE partner, Al-Futtaim. Al-Futtaim has a rich history of providing UAE customers with only the most comfortable and most luxurious vehicles and through the seventh generation Lexus ES it is going to further strengthen its roots.

The 2019 Lexus ES gets all the modern safety and entertainment features, an unbeatable coupe-styled design and an impressive performance peaking engine.

The ES has also received the much-needed inclusions to its lineup including the 300h hybrid sedan. The 300h runs with the help of a gasoline engine and two electric motors, delivering 24.1 km mileage in one liter of petrol while a full tank can last for 1,204 km, which is exceptional. Other than the 300h hybrid, Lexus has introduced the 2019 Lexus ES F-Sport model for the UAE customers. This variant comes for buyers looking for a higher level of performance. This variant sports distinct styling cues both on the outside and on the inside.

Maktari also stated, “Lexus ES is the leading sedan in our line-up and one that constitutes over 70% of our sedan car sales. With the introduction of the new electrified variant, we expect the sales to spike as all institutions and individuals accelerate their efforts to reach the sustainability targets set by the UAE Government’s Vision 2021.”

The new 2019 ES 350 gets power from a 3.5-liter V6 channeled to a new 8-speed direct shift automatic transmission spitting out 301 horsepower, which is 11% more than the outgoing model. The engine is also more efficient offering 16% better fuel economy. The new 2019 ES 250 also mates to an 8-speed Automatic Transmission delivering 13% better horsepower and 25% better fuel economy with 17.2 KM / L.

The 2019 Lexus ES is a highly safe car as it comes equipped with the Lexus Safety System+; a modern safety technology package that comprises of Pre-Collision System (PCS) with pedestrian detection during daylight and certain low-light condition, all-speed range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC), Lane Departure Alert (LDA) with a new feature called Lane Tracing Assist (LTA), and two-stage adaptive high beam system (AHS).

The active safety features include 10 SRS airbags, Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Traction Control (TRC), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA), Panoramic View Monitor (PVM), Blind Spot Monitor (BSM), Parking Support Alert (PKSA), Rear Cross-Traffic Alert (RCTA), Active Cornering Assist (ACA), and Hill-start Assist Control (HAC), and many more.

The seventh generation 2019 Lexus ES starts from AED 195,000. Talking about the current models, the 2018 ES 250 is available for AED 160,000, while the 2018 ES 350 starts from AED 170,000.
